Whats on in July

Hey team, it has been a crazy month of weather!! From wet and windy to a heatwave and now the summer seems to be here. It is hard over the summer months to keep a regular training plan and I ask you to train as much as you can, focus on your goals and work as hard as you can……Always feel that you can speak to the team if you need some extra help or training tips anytime – this is what we do 😊See you all in class very soon

SUMMER SHUTDOWN – Our annual summer shutdown week is from Monday 27^th July – Sunday 2^nd August – There will be NO classes this week and the team will all be having a week off

 

 

1. Upcoming Gradings:

St Helens – 1^st July, Altrincham – 8^th July, Chester – 10^th July

All forms are now sent out, please fill out application asap.

2. We have a brand new friend and family referral throughout the months of July and August….Upgrade your family or friend to classes for £49 (cost of uniform) and train for free during the summer. Please see socials for information.

 

3. Our annual summer kicking competition is here…Please send me your photo of you doing a kick on holiday….Winners announced at the end of August and they will receive a t shirt.

 

4. We have been working really hard on our knife defence in Leadership this month. Exams will be held over the next couple of weeks and then we move onto Street Self Defence

 

5. Our sparring kit offer has gone down really well. It will be great to see you all starting your sparring journey in classes.

 

6. We are now planning to open 4 new locations across the areas in September and October. This is really exciting for the team and give you all more locations to train in.

8. New safeguarding review – PARENTS we ask you kindly to NOT use your mobile phone in class and we ask you NOT to take photographs of the class in progress. We also ask that you drop off children at the door and pick up after class. If you need to stay with your child, please can you refrain from having conversations with other parents whilst class is on. This is very distracting to our team and the children.
